My Dad

Today has been an emotional one, my dad went in the hospital with some very serious issues with his kidneys. I know he will be fine I have much faith in whatever the Lord has planned that he will always be comforted.

My dad has always been the most kind hearted, and giving man I know. I was very blessed when he came into my life when I was about 6yrs old. He adopted me and loved like his very own and I have never once thought of anyone else being my Father but him.

He helped me raise both of my boys and has always been a great role model for them and he still is. He has much love for his grandkids all 29 of them (and then some more on the way) He brightens a room when he comes in. He loves his wife unconditionally and I have never seen him happier. I thank her for that. I owe my Dad everything, I am who I am because of him and his love for me, Thanks Dad

Please say a little prayer for him that all will be well, much love, Cyndie

Wild Wednesday

I haven't been on here regularly so yes I am a slacker, would rather be at the beach but its been raining all day :(( I miss Utah and my friends, but life in Florida not so bad I have a friend from Utah here.

We have had a great time and we are having a reunion party for all our friends from the 70's-80's that will be Saturday night people we grew up with in the LDS church. I am so excited to see everyone.

The pic is the day and the life of how I would live my life spending it on the beach hand in hand with the one I love :))

Happy Friday

I am in a spiritual mood and want to share a little of my insight to each, in James 1:5 it tells us if we lack wisdom ask of (him)God and it shall be given.

I have done just that and he has given me much in my life to be grateful for such as: My faith, the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.....My children, and brothers and sisters, a mom and dad and my dear friends. I love you all and prayer you will always be up lifted by the spirit and in times of need go and kneel and ask unto the Lord for love and protection daily from the world we live in as it not easy....Without my Lord I would be nothing.
May the Lord Bless you all ALWAYS!!

Twilight...The saga begins for me :))

The Twilight Saga has begun as most of you know I do not read at all....If I can help it and I have read the Twilight books twice now. I am addicted and love how Stephenie Meyer writes with so much passion and you can't help but love the movie.
I am so excited for the next movie "New Moon" I will probably see it seven "7" times too. that is sad.
I believe everyone needs an escape to feel the love and passion of a true fantasy ( who could ever believe that there really is an Edward out there, we can always hope, I know I do.
Hey here's to an exciting Saga for Love, Fantasy and Passion.

Saying goodbye to Utah!!

This how pretty it is in Utah and I love it....But I have a son that doesn't and he is ready to move back to Florida and so on Jan 31, 2009 we will be taking road trip. I will be traveling the south route as I am not going to chance it driving through the snow in the middle of the country. I am going to miss my friends here, but cannot wait to see my family and friends at home. I will take pics on my trip and post them.
I am going to miss my oldest as he is staying and going to school and has a good job!

A Moment for Me

Shake the Salt has started a new meme called: A Moment for Me.

It is a reminder that we all need to take time for ourselves, sometimes we get caught up in the everyday routine, we forget about us and we mom's are the ones that keep the family together.

I have Aroma Therapy Candles I use. I put them around the tub and on the sink counter turn the lights off and I usually pray....this is my quiet time and I spend a few minutes with my Heavenly Father.

So remember take time for you MOM!!
